Each year, we select a theme that best describes the cultural components we want the public to learn. All planning activities are around the theme. In 2009, the theme was "Cambodia, the Beautiful". During the event, we presented to the public brief information about Cambodia ranging from geography, history, the people, the languages, the religion, etc. This year, we like to expand last year theme by inviting you to discover "Cambodia, Its Culture & Its People". We will focus on the natural beauty of Northeastern Region which covers Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kratie, and Stung Treng provinces. Cambodia is a Southeast Asian country rich of culture and heritage. The best way to know and learn about Cambodian culture is to visit Cambodia . However the CCD team would like to invite all people from all walk of lives to come to our event to "Discover Cambodia" and her culture, heritage, traditions and values. |
