The traditional cloth making method and other crafts have been abandoned by indigenous people because of modern life style and industrial technology. CANDO Craft Center, just like CCD, like to preserve their culture and tradition. Year Book

YEAR BOOK
Every year, the CCD publishes a small program book known as year book (formely known as souvenir book). This year, the book will feature the culture of Pailin and Tonle Sap reigions, including geography, climate, agriculture, economy, and tourism. We will profile history and characteristic of some Cambodian monuments and some Cambodian traditions that are widely practiced in Cambodia nowadays. We will also feature a research on traditional silk making profession.
Organizations, businesses, and individual may place an advertisement with us for a fee. The rate is as follow:

Full page Ad:  $100
Half page Ad:  $50
Quarter page Ad:  $25
Full Page Ad on back cover: $200 (taken by Western Union)

Replica of Angkor Wat

We have bought a replica of Angkor Wat (picture shown below). It is a sculpture made out from stone, by a sculptor in Pursat province, Cambodia. It is 1.3 meter long, 1.1 meter wide and .35 meter high. It took more than 2 months to complete the sculpture. Click the picture to enlarge.
